As a graduate of the Canadian college of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in Cambridge, Teresa is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and is a member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario. She is excited to be a part of the team at The Natural Way and combine her education along with the skills she has developed.
With almost 20 years experience working in health and community services, Teresa has well-developed skills in communicating and responding to the needs of a wide range of clients. Teresa has a background in working with people who have complex and multiple health needs, and is interested in treating in a range of conditions from palliative care and chronic pain, to relaxation and injury prevention/treatment. Regardless of the reason that you are looking for a massage treatment, Teresa enjoys developing and carrying out a plan with you to help you reach your goals.
Teresa’s massage treatments have a combination of relaxation and therapeutic elements, and usually contain some information about self-care, so that her clients can take the benefits of the massage back home and extend them beyond the treatment time. In addition to registration as a massage therapist, Teresa also has certificates in Reiki and Introduction to Reflexology, and will continue expanding her knowledge to further expand and improve the treatments that she offers.
